TEQ Token
The Utility Fuel for Tokenized Identity, Certification & Compliance
Overview
The TEQ Token is the native utility token of the TokenTEQ platform — designed to facilitate decentralized participation in identity tokenization, asset certification, and compliance automation across the XDC Network.
Core Functions
- Payment Layer: Required for minting identity subdomain tokens (XRC721) via the AutoTEQ smart contract.
- Access Control: Grants access to advanced features including metadata extensions, associated token issuance (XRC1155/XRC3646), and QR-based verification.
- Governance (Planned): Future integration with decentralized governance for protocol upgrades, pricing, and ecosystem proposals.
- Automation Fuel: Powers AutoTEQ logic execution, AI integration, and IoT-triggered token activity within supported modules.
Smart Contract Design
- Proxy Architecture: TEQ is structured as a proxy contract with an upgradable logic layer for future-proof flexibility.
- XRC20-Compatible: Fully compatible with the XDC Network and wallet integrations.
- Upgradeable: New modules can be added without disrupting legacy holders or systems.
Network Integration
- Used for: Token issuance, payment verification, and decentralized reward systems.
- Backed by: A patent-pending tokenization framework built around subdomain-based identity tokens and compliance-linked metadata.
- Interacts with: AutoTEQ Registry, Tokenizer UI, and associated token protocols for document and asset certification.
Launch Status
The TEQ Token is currently in pre-launch phase. Contract audit, liquidity planning, and reward allocation design are underway. Stay tuned for updates, whitepaper release, and token distribution announcements.
